Changing from Unhealthy to a Healthy Lifestyle

I once was living an unhealthy lifestyle but I realized that this only lead me to being obese and having disease. When I was in grade school I always overeat and lack in exercise. My habit is only playing computer games which makes me always sitting in front of my computer missing all the fun and enjoyment the outside world has to offer. In high school I weight a whopping 190 lbs which make me the laughing stock in our class but it didn't matter it just resulted to overeating because of the stress that burdens me.
At the midst in high school year I recently notice something changes in my body usually I experience dizziness, headache and a pain at the back of my neck. This feelings made me anxious and I have to go see my doctor for a check up. It turns out that I'm experiencing a high blood pressure or they say hypertension. The doctor is very concern with my health because at a an early age I have hypertensive case. The doctor ask what kind of life style I have, so I tell him everything about my lifestyle. The doctor advised me to change my lifestyle, for me as afraid of what will happen to me if I don't change my lifestyle. In changing my unhealthy lifestyle to healthy lifestyle I follow these methods:

1. Eat Healthy Foods. I have to change what I eat, this leads me to avoiding foods with high amounts of unhealthy fats. Unhealthy fats are trans fat and saturated fats. This fats will raise your LDL cholesterol and if the LDL is high this will often result to an increased risk of heart disease. Also I have to avoid food that have high in sugar such as sweets, soft drinks, sugary fruit juices and white bread. I have to eat fruits and vegetables as this ca aid to lowering my blood pressure. Also eating different variety of whole food and food containing protein good for the muscles.

2. Exercise daily. I usually scheduled an exercise one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I start hitting the gym and spend 1 hour this is after I'm finished in school. I also keep my progression such us weighing daily or weekly, this is to know if I'm losing weight. I usually do jogging in the morning which now I enjoy as I meet new friends and see what the outside world like.

3. Avoiding Unhealthy  Habits. This are alcohols, smoking, overeating, unproductive, losing focus in dieting, and other else that can ruin my lifestyle. I just maintain my normal weight now and do regular daily exercise.

4. Having a Good Hygiene. Well I believe that to start your day you have to be fresh. Always shower everyday, brush and floss your teeth daily, wear clean clothes and wear antiperspirant.

So this is how I change my unhealthy lifestyle to healthy lifestyle. In the end I get to lower my blood pressure, my weight, and risk of having disease. Usually I weight 140 lbs now and planning to maintain or decrease some more. Guys please comment what other suggestion you might have to having a healthy lifestyle.
