My Health is My Wealth: Healthy Eating Habits

Healthy eating habits are important for you to develop a well healthy body. The food you eat plays an important role in your health. To maintain a healthy weight, you need to develop healthy eating habits. This healthy eating habits does not mean you have to limit your food in your diet but this are ways to be healthy.  This are important information I know that can help you build a healthy eating habits:


Have three meals a day. Three meals a day should keep you nourished throughout the day so  you can perform to an optimal level and avoid fatigue. Having there meals a day prevent you from hunger that could result to over eating and your diet would be compromise. 


Don't skip breakfast. A healthy breakfast is a great way to start your day and refueling your body. When you sleep at night your body undergo 6 or more hours without food and has digested any food taken in the day before. An empty stomach could get in your way or could ruin your day. 

Drink 8 glasses of water a day or keep yourself hydrated. Drinking water is important to replace the water you lose. Experts says that you should drink 8 glasses of water or more
in a day but it can differs to others because of illness or disorder based. Drinking water benefits the body in various ways like maintaining the body's homeostasis. 

Eat snacks in between your meals.  To curb up your appetite and provide little energy. You don't have to eat heavy foods just try a piece of cracker or a slice of fruit.

Focus on eating. Pay attention when your eating and avoid distraction such as TV, radio and phone. Chew your food thoroughly and eat slowly this will allow you to enjoy your food.

Do not let yourself hunger as it will result to overeating at mealtime. This will just burden your digestive tract. Also it will only your ruin your diet try having in between snack like fruits and crackers.
